Dr. Laura Somerville

VETERINARIAN

Dr. Laura Somerville graduated in 2017 from the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine. Laura has seen practice over the UK and Ontario, most recently working in Northern Ontario before moving back closer to home. She has a mixed breed puppy who enjoys being her hiking partner and has recently mastered hopping onto the paddleboard. At this time, Laura is excited to move to the Tillsonburg area and to get to know the clients and their respective hiking, boarding, or lounging partners.

Dr. Terry Boys

VETERINARIAN

Dr. Terry Boys graduated in 1978 from the Ontario Veterinary College. He has since practiced mixed animal medicine at various clinics around Oxford County, and currently practices small animal medicine at our clinic. He lives on his farm with his wife Karen. For the most part, Terry enjoys farming and spending time with his family. At this time, he has grown children and 2 grandchildren, whom he spends as much time with as possible.

Courtney

REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

Courtney joined our clinic in January 2018 as our Registered Veterinary Technician. She graduated from Ridgetown College in 2005 and has worked in small animal medicine since. Courtney lives in Tillsonburg with her 2 children.

Jenn

RECEPTIONIST

Jen joined our clinic in 2011 as a receptionist and technician. She also graduated from Northern College in 2011. She lives in Tillsonburg with her husband, 2 cats and 2 dogs.

Gillian

OFFICE MANAGER

Gillian joined us as Practice Administrator in the fall of 2017. She has a passion for Bernese Mountain Dogs and Dressage horses and is currently awaiting the arrival of a new puppy! She is an AHT (Animal Health Technologist) Additionally, she has been working in the veterinary field for over 25 years. Gillian is a Certified Veterinary Hospital Manager. Thus, her job is to ensure that the hospital runs smoothly and provides the highest quality service. She comes from a diverse background ranging from employment in the veterinary industry, including large, small, equine, and corporate practices, to working in the private sector in a human resources/OSHA capacity. In 1999 Gillian decided to hang up her scrubs and continue her career in veterinary management. Gillian has been especially helpful in promoting best practices and animal advocacy in our clinics.

During her free time Gillian enjoys spending time at her cottage in the Muskokas and participating with her dogs in obedience. She also spends time visiting seniors through the therapy dog program. Gillian feels especially fortunate to have been able to incorporate her love of animals into a career.
